Miso ramen

Miso ramen is a Japanese noodle soup. In this soup miso is used as the basic taste. Sapporo (prefectoral capital of Hokkaido) is known and famous by the miso ramen, but common in other parts of Japan as well.

Soy sauce ramen

Soy sauce ramen is a Japanese noodle using soy sauce as the basic taste. Sometimes it is called "Chinese soba". The origin of Japanese ramen can be traced back to 1910 when it was served first in "Rairaiken" Tokyo, Asakusa district. Among the ramens in Japan, the salt base ramen and soy sauce base ramens had the longest history. If you say simply ramen, in most of the cases you will get soy sauce ramen.
